A variety of events are set to take place in South Somerset over the next week.
Chard
A bingo night dedicated to National Fish and Chip Day will be held at Chard Guildhall on Friday, June 5.
The event will feature food from Whites Fish and Chips, with three set meals available. Meals must be pre ordered.
Doors open at 6pm, with eyes down set for 7.30pm. The bar will offer a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
Bingo costs £5 for six games, with a £1 flyer and £1 pen. A raffle will also be held, with tickets priced at £1 for two strips.

Ilminster
The Ilminster Literary Festival is set to mark its 10th anniversary this week.
The festival, which is an annual charity event, was started by book enthusiasts and has grown into a recognised community fixture.
It is also the result of support from local sponsors and partners, including Waterstones and Squiggle Graphics, as well as volunteers.

Ilminster Arts Centre will also host a special event honouring Wadham College Oxford's foundress this week.
On Friday, June 5, Dr Matthew Spring will deliver a talk at 7.30pm about Dorothy Petre Wadham's life, musical connections and legacy.
This will be followed by a concert from Sirinu, showcasing music from Dorothy's childhood home, Ingatestone, from the Elizabethan and Stuart periods.

Dorothy Wadham, who lived from 1533 or 1534 to 1618, was born a Petre. The family was one of the most important musical patrons of the Elizabethan period.
Her significant inheritance was used to establish Wadham College, fostering domestic music making traditions.
South Petherton
Folk musician John McCusker is set to perform with his trio in South Petherton this week.
The concert, featuring BBC Folk Award winner Sam Kelly and multi instrumentalist Toby Shaer, will take place at The David Hall on Saturday, June 6, from 8pm to 10.30pm.
McCusker is known for his work with Mark Knopfler and the Transatlantic Sessions, and the concert promises a mix of experience and fresh energy.

Yeovil
A comedy by British sitcom writers will be staged in Yeovil this week.
Situation Comedy by Mortimer and Cooke is coming to the Swan Theatre as part of a performance by the Yeovil Civic Players.
The play follows two sitcom writers who, struggling for ideas, find themselves in humorous situations with each other's wives.
Audiences can expect a farce filled with insider knowledge of sitcom writing.
The play will run from Wednesday, June 3, to Saturday, June 6, with performances starting at 7.45pm.

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood will bring his Revelations show to Yeovil this week.
He will perform at the Westlands Entertainment Venue on Friday, June 5.
The longest serving judge on the BBC show, Revel Horwood started his career as a dancer and went on to work in some of the nation's biggest musicals, becoming a choreographer, director and best selling author.
Following the release of his debut solo album, Revelations, the show will offer an evening of music, dance, drama and song, along with stories from the Strictly Come Dancing set.

Countdown's Susie Dent is set to bring her Word Perfect tour to Yeovil this weekend.
