Sacred Sisters Studio Opens on Holyrood Street with Retail, Therapy Rooms and Social Hub
Sacred Sisters Studio has opened at 43 Holyrood Street in Chard, bringing a mixed model business to the town centre that blends specialist retail, therapy services and community space.
The venture is co founded by Louise Robinson alongside Claire Wilks and Kayley Fooks, both with previous business experience in Glastonbury. Opening day drew strong footfall with queues forming outside the premises.
The studio sells spiritual gifts and responsibly sourced crystals, but the core offer extends beyond traditional shop trade. A dedicated social hub has been built into the layout, and fully equipped therapy rooms are available for hire by independent practitioners.
That structure reflects a broader shift in market town retail. Businesses that offer in person experience, community contact and specialist services are proving more resilient than premises focused only on product sales.
For Chard, the opening adds another independent operator to Holyrood Street at a time when many town centres are trying to attract businesses that can generate repeat visits.
The founders say they plan a regular programme of workshops and practitioner led sessions through the summer period.
